I have noticed that when I click on the links and I am not in the AOL software, I do not get to the room.

If you open up this blog in the AOL browser inside the Desktop software or the regular AOL software, and then click on the link, it should take you right to the room.

You can use either the regular AOL software or the Desktop software to access the chat rooms. You do need an AOL screen name to access the rooms. It is possible to use other features of AOL with an AIM screen name. I do not know why chat rooms do not work for AIM screen names with the Desktop software. I will keep testing it though.
